The Austin Fashion Doll Club (AFDC) is an adult non-profit group who share their love of dolls, both vintage and contemporary, through designs, artistic creations and displays. They meet on the last Sunday of each month. After a brief business meeting, members share a display of dolls, costumes, scenes and accessories depicting a theme, topic or holiday.
The AFDC invites Westbank Library visitors to "come see" their themed doll show and tell on the last Sunday of the month. The theme for May is Brides.

Meditation with Elizabeth Hoisington is a relaxing program that we offer weekly. Take a breather and some time to recharge during your lunch break; the only thing you have to lose is some extra stress!

In this introductory two part course students will learn how to program using CSS for their websites. CSS is an extension to HTML that helps expand the style that HTML provides to existing websites that are already coded with HTML.
Daytime Book Group comes together once a month to discuss books that explore life from many angles - from the author's viewpoint, from the characters' experiences, and from the group members' personal perspectives. The group reads both fiction and non-fiction, and participants engage in lively discussions on the topic. Members usually meet after the book discussion at a nearby restaurant for social talk and visiting.
Open Chess Play is an opportunity for players of all skill levels and ages to play chess. This is an unsupervised activity & parents must be in the building during this event.
