Designed for men and women 35 and older, this style of yoga is safe and non-competitive. Lisa Galizia from Bee Cave Yoga presents a class designed around an easy, safe breath oriented style of Yoga. Everyone can benefit from this class because the postures are modified to suit all fitness levels. You will leave the class feeling refreshed and peaceful with an overall sense of well-being. Please bring your own mat.
About the instructor: Lisa Galizia started studying Yoga with her brother Larry Payne Ph.D. of Samata Yoga, founding president of the International Association of Yoga Therapists. Lisa is a registered yoga teacher with the Yoga Alliance and has taught yoga for over 10 years in the Austin area both group and private classes. She also received advanced training in yoga therapy and Prime Of Life Yoga and continues to attend workshops to stay updated. Lisa attended CSULB and has a B.A. in Foods and Nutrition. She recently completed the life style and weight management certification from NESTA (National Exercise and Sports Trainers Association) and is currently enrolled in the Wellcoach program. Lisa is featured in Yoga For Dummies and Prime of Life Yoga DVD Series.
