Our five Board Trustees are elected to two-year staggered terms. In 2020, three positions will be up for election.
Candidates must have resided within the Westbank Community Library District for at least 6 months, must be 18 years of age before the election, must be registered to vote, and must comply with other qualifications for holding public office as outlined in Election Code 141.001.
The first day to file an application for 2020 will be July 18, 2020, and the last day to file will be August 17, 2020. Signed and notarized applications may be filed at Westbank Community Library, 1309 Westbank Drive, Austin, TX 78746, to the attention of Tess Westmoreland. Library staffed hours are 1-4pm, Monday-Saturday, except holidays. Signed and notarized applications may also be sent by mail or emailed (firstname.lastname@example.org) and must be received by August 17.

The 2020 election will be held on Tuesday, November 3, in conjunction with Travis County. If the number of candidates does not exceed the number of positions open, the election will be cancelled.
