Create a favorite animal in wool with needle felting, a process where strong and solid shapes are made using a barbed needle plunged into wool. Different from wet felting which uses soap and water, this dry process allows for a great amount of detail. Learn the basics such as what wools to use and where to source them, how to construct a wire armature, and ways to make realistic eyes from polymer clay. All supplies will be provided for use during class time.
Bring images of an animal that inspires you! Also, feel free to bring a lunch to enjoy while we work.
