Millefiora means “a thousand flowers” in Italian, and refers to a glass making process where tubes, or canes, of color are rolled together and then sliced, revealing an intricate mosaic pattern. The resulting slices are beautiful and can be used as beads or pressed onto shapes. We will be using polymer clays for the process, which get baked at a low temperature. All necessary tools are available for use during class time, and polymer clay will be provided for you to take home.
