Calling all animal lovers: Lucas Miller, the singing zoologist, will be rocking out at Laura’s Library on May 8 at 4:30! With a multimedia blend of hilarious puppets, award-winning music and accurate biology, Lucas gets the whole family giggling, singing, dancing and learning about ocelots, anacondas, monarch butterflies, and more. Come out for his unforgettable celebration of wildlife and nature!

Lucas Miller, who holds a B.A. in zoology, brings science to life in wildly animated style. With an electric guitar, a trunk full of puppets and images projected onto a large screen, he delights preschoolers and upper-elementary kids alike while teaching about wetlands, adaptations, metamorphosis, and other topics. Miller’s songs and stories have won high honors from the Parents’ Choice Foundation and the Great American Song Contest, and he’s been featured in FORTUNE Small Business and Texas Parks & Wildlife magazines. He is the author of three books, including Bluebonnet Time, which turns the traditional bluebonnet photo shoot into an experience of science discovery.
