This week Licensed Professional Counselor, Dr. Lucy Underwood, will be presenting on “Recognizing and Managing Grief During Quarantine.“
The experience of grief can impact individuals at any age for any reason. It is expected to have grief following the death of a meaningful individual; however, we can also experience grief when change occurs without notice, choice, or input — just like our quarantine. Dr. Underwood will provide information on recognizing signs and symptoms of grief, as well as strategies for families in supporting and overcoming grief.
Dr. Lucy Underwood is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor with a PhD in Counseling Psychology. She owns a private practice in McKinney, Texas, that focuses on helping adolescents, adults, and families to navigate life to achieve greater emotional wellness. Dr. Underwood specializes in the treatment of anxiety disorders and trauma.
