But more amazing books are out there, just waiting to be read! Here are some places to start looking for your next great read:

NoveList   We have a number of resources available on our catalog page, including NoveList – a database of book reviews, lists based on mood, introductions to genres, and so much more. If you’re looking for your next favorite book, simply access NoveList through our catalog (resources are listed alphabetically) and browse by theme, age group, and genre. Suggested Reads & Staff Picks   Also on the library’s catalog page is a Suggested Reads tab, where you’ll find New York Times bestsellers, a rotating list of curated titles, and Staff Picks – lists of favorite books compiled by your favorite librarians!

My Librarian   Speaking of favorite librarians, have you visited the My Librarian page on the library’s website? Here you’ll find librarians’ descriptions of the types of books they enjoy, as well as a contact button so that you can ask them what you should read next.

Book Club Books   What are the library book clubs reading? Take a look on our website!

Facebook   Follow Westbank Libraries on Facebook for librarian suggestions and #onesentencereviews!

And of course, you’re always welcome to come into the library and chat with us about books. We’d love to talk in person the next time you pop by. In the meantime, enjoy the amazing programs we have coming up, including author visits from Sarah Bird (Oct. 6th) and Monica Ballard (Oct. 13th)!
